Before the appointment
Stop using the affected function. Let the appliance cool before noting any visible condition. If you smell gas, leave the area and contact the gas utility or emergency services from a safe location; do not continue testing the range.

A useful detail for this request
For a door that no longer closes evenly, report the visible gap and any change in use. Leave hinge adjustments and door removal to the technician.
Changes you may notice
- A surface burner clicks but will not light normally.
- The oven takes longer than expected to heat.
- One element or cooking zone does not respond.
- Baking results have become uneven.
- The controls stop a cooking cycle unexpectedly.
What the technician evaluates
Testing is adapted to the appliance and reported behavior. The items below guide the inspection; they are not a promise that a particular component needs replacement.
- The affected cooking function and control response
- Ignition or electric heating behavior as applicable
- Temperature sensing and oven operation
- Door condition, visible connections and safe installation access
Prepare the details that matter
A burner that clicks is not proof that every ignition component is working. Fuel and electrical tests belong with a qualified technician.
A range has two cooking systems. Tell us whether the problem affects the surface, the oven or both so the visit starts with the right scope.
A brand, appliance type and concise symptom description are enough to begin. Installation restrictions can be discussed without moving or dismantling the appliance.
From request to an agreed repair
The service process has a clear decision point: diagnosis first, approval second. Ask about the scope, parts and price before authorizing work.
The diagnostic/service call is $95 and is credited toward an approved repair. An itemized repair price is agreed after diagnosis and before work. Genuine OEM parts are used. Same-day and emergency appointments depend on schedule and location.
Parts, warranty and scope
1-Year Parts & Labor Warranty covers parts installed and labor performed under normal use. It excludes new unrelated faults, misuse, power surges and work performed by others after the service visit.
Genuine OEM parts are used. This is independent service, with no claim of manufacturer endorsement.
Helpful answers
Before you arrange service
Should I keep trying an ignition that fails?
Stop using the affected burner. Repeated attempts are not a safe diagnostic method, especially if there is any gas odor.
Do you repair the oven section as well as the burners?
Yes. Describe which section is affected. A range service request can address either system after diagnosis.
Can you promise a repair at the first visit?
No. The diagnosis, parts availability and installation determine the next step. Repair scope and price are agreed before work.
